Pulling Q1 tickets now. I'll classify with the same taxonomy the Churn Predictor uses so the two numbers reconcile.

Q1 cancellations came in at 4,612 tickets from 2,941 unique subscribers — 1.57 tickets per canceling customer, which is normal (subscribers rarely cancel on the first contact). Here's the classification by month:
| REASON | JAN | FEB | MAR | TOTAL | % |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shipping too frequent | 389 | 421 | 528 | 1,338 | 29% |
| Duplicate of another brand | 268 | 277 | 286 | 831 | 18% |
| Price | 192 | 215 | 238 | 645 | 14% |
| "Tried once, not for me" | 184 | 186 | 182 | 552 | 12% |
| Moving / life change | 138 | 142 | 149 | 429 | 9% |
| Shipping/fulfillment issue | 103 | 108 | 114 | 325 | 7% |
| Efficacy ("didn't work") | 88 | 91 | 97 | 276 | 6% |
| Other / unclassified | 72 | 68 | 76 | 216 | 5% |
What's stable and what's trending:
- "Shipping too frequent" is trending up month-over-month — Jan→Mar is +35%. This matches what Churn Predictor has been flagging on mid-tier Magnesium subscribers. It's our biggest driver and it's getting worse, not better.
- "Duplicate of another brand" is the second-biggest driver and 100% flat. That means we're acquiring customers who already subscribe to a competitor and then lose the head-to-head. Acquisition problem, not retention problem.
- Efficacy tickets are rare (6%) and stable — the product is fine. Churn here is about cadence and competition, not whether Verdant works.
Two representative quotes:
"I love the product but I've got two unopened bottles on the shelf and another one coming Monday. Please cancel until I finish what I have." — ticket #VRD-17901, 1 of 1,338
"Switching to a competitor that bundles magnesium + sleep in one capsule. Not a quality complaint, you're just one SKU and they're a stack." — ticket #VRD-17432, 1 of 831
Recommended next actions:
- Fix shipping cadence first. The 30-day default on 180ct Magnesium is actively creating cancellations — Churn Predictor already drafted a "cadence reset" save-play; activate it. This alone should claw back 400+ cancellations per month.
- Run an exit survey on "duplicate of another brand" — we don't currently ask which brand. I've drafted a 3-question Klaviyo exit survey: (1) which brand, (2) what pulled you away, (3) any chance we win you back in 90 days. Ready for Amira.
- The 6% "other" bucket is small but worth a human eyeball — I can pull the 216 tickets for a spot-read if you want.
